Our Story began in 1992, when we started as a home-based soy milk provider. Founder Mr.Koh and wife were passionate about bringing high-quality soy products to their local hawker store, factory cafeterias, and restaurants.Not so long after, the business expanded and Jia Ying Food & Beverage was established in 2000. “Jia Ying” is a Chinese word, it means “High-quality Beverages,” we believe we can’t go wrong with providing high-quality beverages and this belief has kept us in business for over 25 years till date. Till date, our business continues to thrive and we have expanded into much larger markets like shopping mall food courts and dessert based cafés. we further expanded by moving to a factory lot in 2002 and re-branded to Soya Food & Beverage from Jia Ying Food & Beverage. However, our belief hasn’t changed, we still strive to provide high-quality beverages. In order for the company to continue to thrive and to stay innovative, Mr.Koh and wife decided to pass the business onto the next-generation. Their son, Jason. Jason is a chemical engineer. He officially took over the family business in 2017, and since then re-branded the business to Bean N Joy. His goal is to innovate and produce highquality beverages while spreading joy at the same time. Jason finds so much joy in making beverages and hopes customers can find joy in those products as well. Hence, the name Bean N Joy.
